  • Why Pigment Ink Print on Archival Paper ?

Fine art photographic prints are celebrated for their quality, craftsmanship, and the attention to detail involved in their creation. Here's why they are considered exceptional:

    1. High-Quality Materials: Fine art prints are produced using premium papers, such as archival or cotton-based papers, that offer exceptional texture, weight, and longevity. These materials resist fading and deterioration, ensuring the print maintains its quality over time.

    2. Advanced Printing Techniques: The printing process for fine art photography typically involves high-resolution printers that can produce incredibly detailed images. Techniques like Giclée printing use pigment-based inks that provide a wider colour gamut, better color accuracy, and greater resistance to UV light.

    3. Artistic Intent: Fine art photography is often created with a clear artistic vision. The photographer meticulously composes, captures, and processes the image with the intent of conveying a specific mood, emotion, or narrative. This artistic approach elevates the print from a simple photo to a work of art.

    4. Limited Editions: Fine art prints are produced in limited editions, which adds to their exclusivity and value. Each print in the edition is signed and numbered by the artist, making it a collectible item.

    5. Attention to Detail: Photographers and printers pay close attention to every detail, specifically colour calibration and the choice of paper. This ensures that the final print reflects the photographer's vision as accurately as possible.

1)The prints are all limited edition, so you can be sure that there will be very few the same as what you’ve bought, Each print will be numbered and signed, they are a unique & thoughtful gift for people you care about.

2) Prints are often a conversation starter, people may recognise the place and associate it with a particular time or person in their lives - emotional resonance is common with photos of place.

3) The versatility of prints means that they can be printed in different sizes to suit a small bedroom all the way up to a huge boardroom or a commerical space.

4) The prints are made to last, in combination with high quality framing the prints will last decades if not centuries.
